What Now! Modi Wants To Counter Jagan Strongly?

Despite the existing NDA alliance between BJP, TDP and Janasena, it can be argued that Jagan’s YSR Congress always looks to be in the good books of the BJP. This is evident if you look at the fact that YCP always vote in favour of NDA in Rajya Sabha and also Lok Sabha when it comes to processing of new bills. There’s a silent “surrender” vibe that YCP passes to NDA.

But it appears that the NDA is not so bothered about this suggestive signs sent by YCP and this implication was given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

Incidentally, Modi interacted with MPs from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar today and had valuable pieces of advice and guidance to them. While 15 MPs took part in this tea meeting with the PM, the latter was fairly constructive about the situations in the Telugu states.

Reportedly Modi instructed the MPs to be strong and resilient when it comes to fighting back at the misinformation that is being spread by Jagan’s YCP on social media. He wanted the BJP also to counter this false narrative built by Jagan’s party at a fundamental level.

About the administration, it is reported that the Prime Minister sounded extremely happy and he appreciated the government in Andhra saying there is very good feedback on the leadership. He further expressed happiness about the fact that Andhra Pradesh is able to secure multiple investments, which is a sign of solid progress.

However, Modi appeared to be angitated about the party situation in Telangana as he said BJP is not fighting to its fullest capacity and added that it needs to be more proactive in the opposition role. He instructed the party leaders not to miss this opportunity to grow their base in Telangana.
