Pawan’s Efforts Help Secure ₹30 Cr for Telangana Temple?

The TTD has reportedly approved Rs 30 crore for the development of the famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple located in Jagtial district of Telangana. The funds are said to have been sanctioned following the recommendation of Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.

Temple sources indicate that an official announcement regarding the allocation is expected soon. The development was informally shared by Jana Sena Telangana in charge Nemuri Shankar Goud.

Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple holds strong personal significance for Pawan Kalyan. Over the years, he has regularly visited the shrine at crucial moments of his political journey. He offered prayers at the temple during the launch of Praja Rajyam Party and later during the formation of Jana Sena Party. Before beginning major election campaigns, he has also performed special prayers for his Varahi vehicle at the temple.

Even after assuming charge as Deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan has continued to show keen interest in the development of the temple. The sanctioned funds are expected to be used for improving facilities for devotees, including the construction of around 100 accommodation rooms and a dedicated Deeksha Mandapam.

Sources say that during his visit to the Kondagattu temple in June 2024 as part of the Varahi Deeksha, temple authorities brought the need for development funds to his attention. Pawan Kalyan reportedly responded positively, leading to the present allocation by TTD.

The move is being seen as a major boost for the historic Telangana temple, which attracts a large number of devotees throughout the year. Improved infrastructure is expected to enhance the overall pilgrim experience and strengthen the spiritual importance of the shrine.
