Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has gotten fully evolved in Tamil Nadu politics as he is scheduled to contest the upcoming 2026 Assembly election through his TVK party. He is receiving the interest of multiple major parties, including BJP and Congress for a potential alliance in Tamil Nadu.
The latest establishment has come from a top representative of the TVK party who revealed on stage that there was this one telephone conversation between Rahul Gandhi and Thalapathy.
According to this representative of TVK, it was Rahul Gandhi, who was one of the first individuals to call Thalapathy Vijay after the Karur stampede incident which happened a couple of months ago.
According to this TVK senior, Rahul spoke on the phone with Vijay and said “Brother, I’m with you. Don’t worry.”
If that really is the case, then it could mean that Rahul Gandhi had clearly lent helping hand to Thalapathy Vijay when it mattered the most, and this would certainly be remembered with fondness by the TVK President.
Another point that must be noted here is that Congress is already in alliance with the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu. But that did not stop Rahul from directly calling Vijay and assuring him in a crunch time while the DMK government itself was going hard against TVK at that point.
