The Telangana Assembly witnessed an interesting visual today as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy got up and walked to the opposition podium to greet KCR, who had come to the Assembly after a long time. The two exchanged a handshake, and Reddy reportedly enquired about KCR’s health.
This was precisely when something controversial happened involving KTR, as he did not get up when Revanth Reddy approached the BRS podium. Many people felt that KTR should have upheld basic courtesy by standing up while the Chief Minister was approaching to greet his father, KCR.
While a lot of discussion is happening on this issue on social media, KTR has now indirectly shared his response on the matter, and here is what he had to say.
“I don’t treat people badly. I treat them accordingly.” This was the quote in the tweet shared by KTR a short while ago. This appeared to be a reaction to the social media debate surrounding his perceived lack of courtesy toward Revanth Reddy today.
It is a fact that Revanth often uses provocative language against KCR and KTR, and vice versa. However, there are certain moments when basic courtesy should be upheld, and this was clearly demonstrated by Revanth Reddy and KCR today in the Assembly.
But it appears that KTR has a completely different view of these proceedings and has even backed his earlier action, indicating that he did it fully intentionally.
