TRS MLA from Nagarjunasagar constituency in Nalgonda district, Nomula Narsimhaiah, has passed away. He suffered a heart attack today morning while undergoing treatment at Apollo hospitals, Hyderabad. He had been suffering from health-related ailments. He was 64-year-old.
Former CPM leader and then MLA from Nakrekal constituency, Narsimhaiah was quite active during Telangana state movement. Nomula Narsimhaiah had subsequently joined TRS and contested from Nagarjunasagar in 2014 elections. However, he was defeated by Congress senior leader K Jana Reddy in 2014. In 2018, Nomula had defeated Jana Reddy from Nagarjunasagar by 7771 votes.
CM KCR, Ministers KTR, Harish Rao and other TRS party senior leaders have expressed shock over sudden passing away of Nomula Narsimhaiah. CM KCR expressed grief and conveyed deep condolences to Nomula’s family.
