The Centre on Friday issuing an order of extending the lockdown, also permitted to open the wines stores from Monday i.e, May 4th across the country. The time slot allotted for wine store is from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Also the Centre added that at wine stores, social distancing should be maintained and at a time five persons should be allowed inside the shops. Following this after nearly 45 days, wines across the country have opened.
As expected people are flocking at the wine stores in large number. A video of a long queue from Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh is going viral and it has people standing in queue that is nearly a kilometer long.
Not just in Nellore, the same scenes are being reported at many places and officials predict that the liquor sales are going to be unimaginable and being summer, the demand could be more.
