Didn’t Take a Single Leave: CM Revanth Explains!

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reached this respected position after an intense political struggle that lasted over a decade. In line with this, he has been doing everything in his capacity to uphold the dignity of the office while maintaining consistency in his work.

In this context, Revanth Reddy interacted with government employees today and made a series of interesting remarks.

“In the last two years as the Chief Minister of Telangana, I have not taken a single day of leave. Every day, I have one responsibility or another, and this has been the case throughout my tenure. One important point to note is that the government cannot be run only by the 200 people in power. The contribution of nearly ten lakh employees is essential,” Revanth stated.

He further pointed out that there may be some government employees who may not like him as Chief Minister, but they should also note that salaries have been credited on time since he assumed office.

The Chief Minister also reminded government employees of their basic responsibilities, stating that the government would cut 10 to 15 percent of an employee’s salary if they fail to take care of their parents.

Revanth Reddy then spoke about the ongoing mandal and district reorganisation process. He confirmed that a commission would be formed soon to decide the framework.

The commission will tour the entire state and gather suggestions and opinions from the public regarding district and mandal rationalisation. During the Assembly session, the government will hold detailed discussions with all political parties before finalising the districts and mandals.
