Who Will Lead Anil Ravipudi’s Landmark Film ?

Apart from hit maker SS Rajamouli, if there is another director in India who haven’t tasted a single box office failure so far, it should undoubtedly be Telugu filmmaker Anil Ravipudi, who has 8 blockbusters to his credit. Now, the initial reports of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu suggest that Ravipudi is going to make it a triple hat-trick of hits. 

With Ravipudi once again proving that he is near-perfect in handling wholesome entertainers with slapstick comedy as the driving factor, there are strong chances that his invincible box office clout will continue during this Sankranti festival as well and further augment his success trajectory to a new level. Now, all eyes will be on his landmark 10th film which might target 2027 Sankranti again. 

During his recent media interaction, Ravipudi evinced interest to work with another seasoned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. If this combination materializes, Ravipudi will achieve a rare distinction by becoming the first new age director to have worked with all four senior actors in top-league. But, Nagarjuna is currently busy shooting for his 100 film and his immediate availability is uncertain as of now.

He already dropped hints about doing a sequel to his blockbuster Sankranti ki Vastunnam. But, Venkatesh is occupied with Trivikram’s film at present. Moreover, the third installment of Drishyam is in the pipeline. So, the chances of Venky – Ravipudi are very less as of now. 

There are also rumours in industry circles that Ravipudi might once again do a film for Dil Raju’s SVC banner. Some unverified reports claim that Pawan Kalyan might headline this project as Ravipudi has the knack for completing shooting formalities in quick time. But, nothing is finalized so far except for wild speculations. 

Though there is no concrete news on who will play the lead protagonist in Ravipudi’s tenth film, there is already a strong hype that gaining momentum among audience. No doubt he will once again aim to continue his success streak during next year’s Sankranti festival season.
