It has been a year and half since the completion of Andhra Pradesh election, but former CM YS Jagan is yet to come into the public in a full fledged manner. He is confining his visits to Andhra Pradesh to weekly meetings with selected members and that’s about it.
In the last 20 months or so, Jagan has barely had any connection with the common public as he did not set foot out for protests or any mass outreach programs.
In the meanwhile, YSR Congress ecosystem is extremely optimistic about the much hyped Padayatra of Jagan as this is regarded as the only saving grace for YCP at a fundamental level.
While there are many dates and Muhurtam in circulation for Jagan’s Padayatra, his close associate Perni Nani has come up with a prediction of his own when it comes to Jagan’s walkathon.
Nani revealed that he thinks Jagan might be stepping out in the public for the anticipated Padayatra after the party plenary on 2027. He sounded extremely optimistic about the possibility of Jaga finally coming out in the public after 2027.
But the hard fact here is that Jagan himself had spoken about several outreach programmes, including the district wide tours in 2025 January itself but none of this happened till now. It has reached a point where Jagan has completely distanced himself from the public.
At this point, there is very little practical effect to Jagan’s scheduling for Padayatra or any other public program for that matter. Now we have to wait and see if Perni Nani’s prediction on Jagan’s Padayatra will prove to be true in reality.
