Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has been frequenting his trips to Delhi in the recent past for obvious political reasons. However, the opposition BRS has been making a meal out of this by saying Revanth Reddy is bowing to the Delhi bosses.
While reacting to the same indirectly, Revanth Reddy made a very interesting statement last evening.
“I have been meeting with Prime Minister Modi once every three months and other cabinet ministers regularly to secure funds to Telangana. I have been maintaining a good relationship with the central bosses for the sake of Telangana. This is the way we can secure good funds and sanctions to our state.” Revanth said.
Revanth further added that it is not right for the opposition leaders to make an issue out of this, and instead, they must present their issues with the government so that they can meditate with the centre and secure funds and support.
Revanth has clearly taken a strong stand for the sake of Telangana betterment by maintaining cordial relations with the center. He has clearly placed the priorities of the state beyond political ego and personal interests.
