#GHMCPolls: Kavitha Casted ‘Fake’ Vote?

TRS MLC and KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha has casted her vote for the GHMC polls earlier in the day. At around 12:30 PM, Kavitha posted pictures of her putting the ballot papers in the box and then showing her inked finger after voting. But much to everyone’s shock, opposition is alleging that Kavitha’s vote is not valid due to ‘duplication’.

Telangana Congress leader Indira Shoban has claimed that Kavitha has casted a ‘fake’ vote and an action should be taken against her. Going into more details, Indira Mohan provided the documented proof that Kavitha’s vote is invalid and her vote is enrolled at Bodhan constituency of Nizamabad district. The Congress leader downloaded vote enrollment proof of Kavitha from the Election Commission’s website and added that the TRS MLC did not cancel her vote at Nizamabad.

Kavitha had exercised her vote during the Parliament elections on April 11, 2019. So it is evident that Kavitha’s vote is enrolled in Nizamabad district.

With Kavitha sharing pictures of her voting today, Telangana Congress has written to Telangana State Election Commission with all the valid proofs and urged to take a serious action against her.

What will the Election Commission do now as there are proper evidences that Kavitha’s vote is a fake one? Or will Kavitha respond to these claims? Let’s see.
