After serving as a hard-core associate and sympathiser of YS family for many years, Vijay Sai Reddy has broken ties with Jagan and is exploring independent opportunities. While he announced his political retirement last year, he is still making a few satirical comments on Jagan even to this day.
Sai Reddy shared an interesting tweet today, and this has an indirect implication on Jagan. While Sai Reddy categorically mentioned the example of Venezuela, the clear implication of “coterie” is hinting at his issues with Jagan’s team which led to him quitting YCP in the first place.
Oh people’s leader, trapped as a “prisoner” amidst the “sold-out” coteries, think about it. At least now, recognize what’s about to happen to you here in the future!
In Venezuela, even after being elected with overwhelming public support, even with the army, navy, air force, intelligence chiefs, and so many around him, no matter how many missiles, fighter jets, and heavy military there were. What allowed America to nab away that country’s president and his wife from the Presidential Palace without any resistance? Isn’t it just that the coterie that was sold out?”
The clear indication here is that Sai Reddy appeared to be mentioning to Jagan resounding victory in 2019, and comparing it to Venezuela, President. But the sold out coterie led to the downfall of Venezuelan President and now, Sai Reddy appears to be warning Jagan about the same.
The senior leader obviously did not name Jagan in this statement, but his comment is clearly coming with a strong illustration against Jagan.
