Andhra Pradesh Congress president Sharmila was very active in Andhra Pradesh politics before the 2024 election. She maintained an active presence in Andhra Pradesh and used to indulge in heated battles against her brother Jagan and also the other parties. 

However, Sharmila had been very silent in the recent past as her activity went down drastically. It has become rare to even get a site of Sharmila in Andhra Pradesh in the recent past.

Coming to the topic now, the AP Congress president has reportedly completed her trip to the United States and arrived in India along with her husband anil kumar, just a short while back. 

A lot has been happening in Andhra Pradesh politics in the recent while as Jagan announced the scheduling for his Pada Yatra, which is likely to start in a year and half from now. Also, chief minister Chandrababu will be returning to AP from the Davos summit shortly.
