Hyderabad’s T-Hub To Turn Into Govt Office?

One of the prestigious and ambitious constructions committed by the previous BRS government in Telangana is the T Hub building in Hyderabad.

This building which is located at the heart of the city in Gachibowli, was a brain child of former minister KTR, who wish to foster startup culture here. It was exclusively designed for the purpose.

However, the current Congress government in Telangana has taken a pretty significant decision as the existing T Hub building is being converted into a government office.

According to the latest developments, the Begumpet Divisional office of Revenue (Commercial Taxes Department ) will move to T-Hub building which was meant for startups.

Along with that, the Telangana govt has ordered shifting of 39 government offices from across the city which are located in rented private buildings to government-owned premises.

Now that the process has been initiated through the shifting of the Begumpet office into the T hub building, more activities could follow. This is a proactive measured by the Telangana government to cut down on the rental expenditure and could be seen as a crucial cost cutting measure.
