Janasena was established on strong principles by Pawan Kalyan, and he has been doing everything possible to uphold them. However, there have been occasional incidents involving certain Janasena leaders, leading to controversies.
The latest addition to this list is the case involving Railway Koduru MLA Arava Sridhar, who has been caught in a female abuse controversy. Yesterday, the YCP released a series of videos in which the MLA is seen in compromising positions. He has also been accused of exploiting a woman.
Now, a section of social media users and the general public are questioning why Janasena has not suspended the MLA so far.
Usually, the Pawan Kalyan led party is very proactive in such matters. This was evident in the earlier suspensions of leaders like Kiran Royal, Vinutha Kota, and others when they were allegedly involved in anti social activities.
However, the same proactive corrective measures are not being seen in the case of the Railway Koduru MLA, who has been caught red handed. Sridhar released a video last night claiming that the footage is a deep fake and said he would fight a legal battle against those responsible. Still, regardless of the reason, Janasena was expected to suspend him first while the investigation continues.
One factor could be that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is currently in Delhi. Pawan may take action once he back to AP.
With several factors involved, it remains to be seen what kind of action Janasena will take on this issue and how quickly it will respond.
