Artificial intelligence revolution is changing the world rapidly and it is crucial that everyone in the tech and educational sectors come to term with this sooner than later. It appears that Andhra Pradesh government has grasped the importance of AI and they’ve been making proactive moves with regard to the same.
In this regard, it is being established now that the first AI University in India is going to come to operation in Amaravati starting from February 19.
It must be noted that the Andhra Pradesh government has initiated the works for the AI University in 2025 itself, and now the stage is set for the inauguration of the same in February.
The government is collaborating with Nvidia for this mega project, which is likely to be a pilot and hallmark AI initiation largest in South India, but also across the country. This idea and contribution originated after IT Minister Lokesh had met with Nvidia CEO last year and took progressive measures with regard to the establishment of this university.
This university is going to play a crucial role in empowering the Andhra Pradesh youth and working capital on the AI revolution and make the state AI-ready for the upcoming wave.
Once the university comes to full operation, Andhra Pradesh could serve as the AI hub for India, and this would be a mega blessing in terms of financials and also human workforce development.
Chandrababu is already credited for breakthrough educational institutions like In Indian School Of Business(ISB), NALSAR and others in Hyderabad (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh). Now he could be way in initiating a new educational wave with this AI university in Amaravati, which could be a game changer.
