One of the leading national media hosts and an extremely aggressive orator, Arnab Goswami, has ripped into former Chief Minister YS Jagan in connection with the Tirumala laddu issue. During a live debate last night, he absolutely lambasted Jagan, raising all the crucial points.
“It is shocking to see Jagan play with the sensibilities of Hindu people with his careless attitude. Jagan says there are no animal fats in the laddu and that it is no big deal if there are chemicals in it. It was further pointed out that several substances, including synthetic ghee, palm oil, and other chemicals, were found in the adulterated laddu,” Arnab said.
Arnab added that Jagan is a Christian and asked whether he would be okay if the sentiments of Christians were treated in such a manner. “Jagan, don’t forget that there are a hundred crore Hindus in this country, and you have no right to play with their sensitivities.”
The reputed media host added that the Tirumala laddu has had a sacred reputation for 300 years, and it is shocking to see that Jagan destroyed it in five years. He further attacked Jagan by questioning him on the hard facts regarding the laddu investigation.
Arnab said it is a great shame to see the sacred Tirumala laddu, which holds so much prominence in the Hindu community, being tossed around for political reasons. However, he added that the issue needed to be brought before the public.
