Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is regarded as one of the most progressive and visionary chief minister in contemporary Indian politics. Now he has revealed his thoughts on the artificial intelligence and its impact on the job market.
When asked about the possibility of AI taking away jobs, here is for Chandrababu had to say “Physical jobs will shrink but opportunities will open in other sectors and at the end of the day stopping new technologies will make us losers.”
Babu pointed out that there will be certain shrinkage in the job market due to the imposition of AI, but this must be cleverly utilised and converted into better living conditions. This is a very balanced and futuristic take on AI, which is likely to change the world in the near future.
About the capital prospect of Amaravati, Babu said “Until now, the world spoke about Silicon Valley in the United States, and from now on, they will speak about Quantum Valley in Amaravati.”
The chief minister stated that he could transform Hyderabad into a Hitech hub of India and said he is on a mission to rebuild Andhra Pradesh through Amaravati now.
Babu further added “Poor-performing states of the country have inevitably ended up with a higher share in the Centre’s devolution of tax revenues at the expense of better performers such as Andhra Pradesh.” He called for a change in this matter.
