Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy is currently in the national capital of Delhi as he is on a political visit. Earlier, he met Congress chief and the opposition leader of the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi and exchanged crucial knowledge on contemporary politics.
Later, Revanth Reddy addressed the media in Delhi and he made a series of highly intriguing comments on several topics with the most prominent one being on pride of Telugu land, Sr NTR.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that senior NTR is a legacy beyond measure and belongs to all Telugu people rather than to any individual entity. He pointed out that NTR firmly deserves the prestigious Bharat Ratna, and said he fully backs this campaign.
Then came the big announcement from Revanth Reddy as he reiterated that he is still firm on his earlier announcement about the establishment of NTR statue in Ameerpet. He confirmed that he will stand on his promise, and will indeed establish NTR statue in the heart of Hyderabad Ameerpet correspondingly.
The point to be noted here is that Revanth Reddy promised to establish NTR statue at the busy junction of Ameerpet during the Jubilee Hills election campaign. He appears to be still standing on this decision and affirmed the same at the national capital today.
The Telangana chief minister recalled that it was the Congress government, which had established NTR statue in the parliament as well(back in 2013). He cited this as Congress’s commitment to enriching NTR’s legacy and fully celebrate the same.
