CBN Breaks The Silence On YCP’s ‘Heritage’ Allegations

Andhra Pradesh politics are continuing to revolve around the Tirumala Laddu issue, and this topic was brought to discussion in the Assembly as well today. The government clarified on several issues pertaining to the Laddu controversy and chief minister Chandrababu took the occasion to clarify on YCP’s narratives.

In the recent past YCP has been linking Chandrababu’s family owned dairy business Heritage with Indapur Dairy and implying that they’re behind ghee supply to Tirumala. These reports were bombarded on social media for a week by YCP activists.

However, chief minister Chandrababu was very dismissive and on point while reacting to these speculation that carry no legitimate evidence.

“Heritage is a family operated business. As a role of thumb, I made it very clear that this company must not be involved with any government operations. Heritage does not supply any product to government institutions or the Tirumala temple itself. We wanted to keep our private business away from government activities.”

“Heritage did not supply a single kilo of ghee or any diary product to Tirumala or any government agency for that matter. Unlike Sakshi media, which was given undue revenue by the previous government, we never interluded Heritage with any of the government programmes or supply chain” Babu stated in the assembly today.

YCP desperately pushing the narrative that Chandrababu conspired by using Heritage company and linked it to Tirumala ghee adulteration and subsequent financial gains. But the chief minister was very clear and straightforward with his clarification on this matter.
