Is Ambati Crossing The Line In Targeting AP Police?

YSR Congress Senior leader Ambati Rambabu was released on bail just a few days back after abusing Chief minister Chandrababu with objectionable cuss words. And he is already back at it as he started to motormouth the government and also the state police department this time. 

Rambabu came in front of the media today and he had a very problematic set of words about Andhra Pradesh Police.

“On the day I got arrested, these TDP group accumulated at my house and started destroying my property from 5 in the evening till 12 in the midnight. This attack went on for seven hours, and the police were nowhere to be seen. Whenever our party leaders, try to contact the DGP, DIG and other top officials, no one responded.” Rambabu said. 

Then came the problematic comment from Rambabu as he said the DGP of Andhra Pradesh is the first criminal. He went on to say that DIG and other top police officials are also criminals for not protecting his house that day. He went to call chief minister Chandrababu and Lokesh also as criminals. 

On one hand, YS Jagan is repeatedly threatening to take action against top police officials, and even saying he would strip them from their uniform once he becomes the CM. And now we have senior leader, Ambati, who is publicly calling the police officials as criminals. 

It appears that YCP clearly has a problem with Andhra Pradesh Police and publicly threatening and humiliating the department at every level. Analysts are pointing out that better restraint and social respect is expected from YCP leaders who had been in power already, and they must know how to respect the department.
