BR Naidu Videos – Real Or Deepfake?

A couple of videos allegedly featuring TTD Chairman BR Naidu have been circulating online since last night. In one video, the man appears to be bidding goodbye to a middle aged woman before leaving. Before going out, they are seen sharing a hug.

In another video, a young girl is seen bidding goodbye to the same man. The woman and the girl appear to be mother and daughter, considering their age difference. There is nothing vulgar in these videos, but since the man resembles the TTD Chairman, the matter has attracted serious attention.

YSR Congress social media teams are circulating these videos, making allegations against the TTD Chairman and demanding that he be sacked.

BR Naidu posted a message on X stating that the videos are deepfakes manufactured by YSR Congress to tarnish his image. He also said that he has approached the Cybercrime Department to take action against those involved.

It was YSR Congress social media that first circulated these videos. However, it is natural for the Opposition to target those in power and try to corner them politically. Moreover, BR Naidu is the owner of TV5, which YSR Congress strongly opposes.

The Government, however, should order a proper investigation into these videos and conduct a forensic analysis to determine whether they are authentic or deepfakes.

If they are authentic, BR Naidu should be sacked without hesitation. Chandrababu Naidu should send a strong message that no one will be spared when it comes to protecting the sanctity of TTD. It may be difficult to take action against a media head, but if it comes to that, there should be no second thoughts.

If the videos are deepfakes, the action should be equally strict. If they are doctored, it would indicate a dangerous trend of defamation and political conspiracy in Andhra Pradesh politics. The Government must ensure strict action against those responsible, including individuals linked to Sakshi and YSR Congress social media, if found guilty.

This is not just a political issue; it also involves the sentiments of millions of devotees. Either way, the Government should take this matter very seriously and ensure a clear and logical conclusion regarding the authenticity of the videos.
