One of the most visionary chief ministers in the country, Chandrababu Naidu has come with a very interesting proposal regarding the ongoing apprehension about birth rate and the need to amplify the same.
Chandrababu pointed out that we currently have a TFR of 1.5% and this needs to be enhanced to 2.1% in order to maintain a positive birth rate index in the country. Emphasising on this, Chandrababu made very interesting offer to the common public.
Babu pointed out that the government will provide a financial package of ₹25,000 if a couple gives birth to more than 2 kids. This financial allocation will be made right during the birth of the third child, which could very well be a game changer.
The chief minister further added that another 25,000 will be provided for every other subsequent child. This would essentially mean that a couple would get ₹25,000 during birth of their third child and another 25,000 during the fourth and so on.
Along with that chief minister, Chandrababu announced a bumper offer to government employees by saying 1 month leave for male govt staff for 2nd child, another month for 3rd child under equal parenting policy.
Our policy will support families through incentives including ₹25,000 for the third child, parental leave for mothers and fathers, and the Poshan–Shiksha–Suraksha package to ensure nutrition, education and protection for every child, Babu tweeted about the same.
