For many years, Pilot Rohit Reddy had been a cause of concern for BRS. He had been facing several allegations at different capacities in the past and even ended up losing the 2023 election from Tandur.
And now, Rohit Reddy has brought about the biggest problem for BRS as he got caught in a drug bust at his farm house in the Moinabad area of Hyderabad. This is one of the major political development in Telangana in recent times, and is being heavily criticised all over.
This has opened the doors for strong criticism from the Congress party as TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud hit at BRS using the issue.
Mahesh Goud pointed out that the BRS ecosystem ruled Telangana for 10 years, and they brought the drug culture here. He then challenged KTR to attend the Assembly session tomorrow and take bath in drug test.
This was followed by a sharp reaction from KTR himself as he tweeted “Drugs create monsters out of human beings. It is unfortunate that even people in responsible positions are resorting to drug usage.
I personally am strictly against drugs and usage of illicit substances. My party BRS condemns usage of drugs and any illegal activities. Any one using and peddling drugs should be strictly punished as per the law irrespective of their political affiliation.”
KTR accepted the challenge from Mahesh Goud and said politicians from all parties must come forward and take these tests and set a strong message.
Well, it appears that the drug bust at the farm house belonging to the former BRS MLA has landed a new challenge for KTR and he’s up for it as well.
