MP Putta Mahesh’s First Reaction On Drug Party Case

Telugu Desam party faced a tricky situation as one of its public representatives, Putta Mahesh Kumar, who is the member of Parliament from Eluru constituency got caught in drug test in Hyderabad. 

Revealing his side of the story, Mahesh Kumar released a public video to the media and common public, just a short while back. He carried a very dismissive tone in the video as he claimed innocence. 

In this explanatory video, the Eluru MP stated that he went to the premises only to meet his friends who had been wanting to meet him for a long time. He added that he did nothing wrong at the venue and asked the public not to believe in the media reports and social media posts.

But the TDP party leadership is not taking this issue politely as they have already issued a show cause notice to the MP. There could be significant disciplinary action and even a possible suspension if deemed fit. 

At the end of the day, it is the responsibility of Telugu Desam to set a strong policy against anti-drug mechanism which is being repeatedly emphasised by Chandrababu and Lokesh. So their decision is going to play a crucial role in this scenario.
