ISB labelled Naidu As ‘Architect Of Modern Hyderabad’

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is widely credited for creating a global ecosystem in Hyderabad during his time as the chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh. This fact got reestablished as Chandrababu visited the famous Indian School of business in Hyderabad.

Incidentally, it was Chandrababu who facilitated the placement of this ISB campus in Hyderabad in the 90s, which changed the business education ecosystem. And now he got invited as a special guest for enclave at the very same ISB campus in the city.

Earlier in the day today, Chandrababu visited the ISB campus in Hyderabad to take part in the South Asia learning Summit 2026 and interacted with students.

As a token of gratitude and positive gesture, the ISB celebrated the legacy of Chandrababu who initiated the project in the first place three decades ago as they labelled him as the “Architect of modern Hyderabad”.

A special video celebrating the legacy of Chandrababu was played at the venue, which rolled back the years when Chandrababu was rampant in IT and social infrastructure operations.

“With the goal of transforming the agriculture-based united AP into an industrial state, we undertook economic reforms. Believing that the future lies in the knowledge economy, we promoted technology and embraced IT.

As an indicator of IT, we constructed Cyber Towers. Leaving aside cities like Bengaluru and Chennai, Microsoft set foot in Hyderabad. For three decades, we have been witnessing those results firsthand.” Babu said at the conclave.
