Before the 2019 election, YS Sharmila used to be a proud representative of her brother YS Jagan. She used to label herself as “Jagananna Vadilina Baanam” as she campaigned for Jagan on behalf of YCP despite not holding an official position in the party.
But the situation today is completely different and the exact opposite. In fact, Sharmila is so perplexed and agitated by Jagan and his YCP leaders that she’s compared them with marginal terms.
“It has come to my notice that YCP leaders are apparently hurt as they say I compared them to dogs. But in reality, I did not term them as dogs nor did I intend to defame them. But they still took offence to this, and this is perhaps a reflection of their own implications of themselves. Their fascinating with comparing to dogs is uncannily self explanatory.” Sharmila said.
Sharmila further added “I watched a podcast in the morning where a few people commented that YCP leaders must not be compared to dogs as this could hurt the sentiments of dogs. Perhaps these YCP leaders are to be called mad dogs.”
This is a pretty strong and verbally provocative comment from Sharmila, and this is in response to the recent comment from YCP’s Rachamallu Siva Reddy who said Jagan has dignity and family values and that’s why he isn’t responding to Sharmila. This appears to have triggered the AP Congress president and instigated a fierce reaction from her.
It needs to be said that Jagan would not have expected in his worst dreams that his own sister and former prodigy Sharmila would turn so badly against his party. The fact that Sharmila and YCP leaders have indulged in a verbal brawl about dogs is not a good sight for firm supporters of the YS family.
