RRR Could’ve Died In Police Custody Under Jagan?

One of the main victims of the YS Jagan administration in Andhra Pradesh is coincidentally YCP’s own MP at that point in time, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju. The degree of torment that RRR endured under Jagan’s regime is beyond comprehension.

In fact, RRR was arrested by Andhra Pradesh, CID during Jagan’s time as the chief minister, and he was reportedly subject to extreme custodian torture during the same.

Now, RRR has candidly opened up on this matter and he said he could’ve very well died during the police torture when it was unfolding in 2021.

“I have anguish against Sunil Kumar for torturing me in custody. I don’t fear him, but I certainly have anger against him for what he did to me. But when it comes to Jagan, I feel pained that he put me through the torture. If Jagan had anything against me, you could have come face-to-face and dealt with me.” RRR said.

The former YCP leader and the current deputy speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly added that Jagan was very radical with his decisions, and he feels lucky to have made it out alive.

“I was lucky to come out of the police custody alive. I could have perhaps died in the process. It would have only affected Jagan politically and made it tough for him.” RRR added.

It is shocking to see a former member of the Parliament faced such a situation from his own party president at that point in time and the degree of fear and pain at that point in time are unexplainable perhaps. If this was the case with a sitting MP belonging to the ruling party, then one can only imagine what could have been the situation of the opposition leaders.
