The other day, Former Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy announced starting a digital news platform which he plans to transform into a News Channel in the future. He announced that the Channel will not be affiliated to any Political Party and will maintain Media Neutrality.
There were taunts and doubts if that is really possible. People are saying Media Neutrality is a myth and it is even difficult for a channel led by a shrewd politician like Sai Reddy.
Not even 24 hours after that announcement, Sai Reddy dropped a hint about what his interests will be. He posted two more tweets and both of them appear anti-government.
In one tweet, he extended support to BSY Party Leader Rama Chandra Yadav who is doing a Deeksha for Social Equality in Amaravati. So Sai Reddy still maintains the same stance that Amaravati is a Capital of few people and there is no social equality.
And then, in another Tweet, he questioned the Government about lack of transparency for not releasing the Socio-economic Survey even though the Budget Session is completed.
Probably, Sai Reddy‘s Media will take the anti-government stance. He will keep his options open until the next election.
If YSR Congress comes to Power in 2029, Vijayasai Reddy may even contemplate going back to Jagan. Many believe that Sai Reddy came out of YSR Congress only to take refuge from a hostile Government.
If not, BJP will be an option. But that will be a case only if the next Government in the Delhi comes without dependency on TDP numbers.
