Delimitation Debacle: Why Is Jagan Getting Trolled?

The NDA government at the centre phase, the significant setback as the women’s reservation bill couldn’t pass the vote in the Lok Sabha last night. This would also momentarily halt the delimitation bill which is associated with the same.

Well, this might be a matter of concern for the NDA alliance, AP’s former CM Jagan is finding himself in a heated mess in connection with the delimitation debacle.

As strange as it may sound, Jagan is facing the heat for his opinion on the delimitation bill after he came up with a cryptic post on the same.

“Opposing parties should seriously question themselves; what have they achieved ?

While the reality is that the numbers would come down for the south and women reservation bill has been postponed ! Justice is rendered neither to the south nor the women! If 2026 census were to come the situation would be worse off for the south, further penalised for being disciplined in the matters of family planning.” Jagan tweeted last night immediately after the bill fell through in the Lok Sabha.

Despite being in the opposition in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan still showed the tenacity to support the ruling NDA and criticise other opposition parties for opposing the bill in Parliament. This strange phenomenon has confused everyone.

Reacting to this post from Jagan, a commoner on Twitter commented “Jagan is as close to BJP as TDP, if not closer. Look at the Avinash Reddy case & his legal troubles.”

Another comment read “what a helpless man he is supporting people who destroyed his party and made him nothing, he loves his money more than people there is no other explanation.”

Another hard hitting comment added that “From Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s legacy of standing up for people…to this alignment with Bharatiya Janata Party narratives what a shift.

The South risks losing representation, women’s reservation is still pending, and yet the blame is on the opposition? It’s deeply disappointing.”
