KCR’s Big Promise To Jeevan Reddy – Calculated or Bold?

The departure of Jeevan Reddy in the Jagtiyal region is a big blow to the Congress party as he is one of the senior leader who has been around for many decades. This was followed by a reciprocal decision by the senior leader as he decided to join BRS.

Interestingly, enough, KCR, who happened to address a massive public gathering in Jagityal today, made a big promise to Jeevan Reddy. 

KCR publicly announced that Jeevan Reddy is going to be the principal secretary for the BRS party effective immediately. It was further announced by KCR that Jeevan Reddy would be given a significant position in BRS once the party returns to power. 

It is evident that KCR went all out to appease Jeevan Reddy and promised him great things. But political experts are pointing out that there might be a bigger net that KCR is casting and this could be to attract other potential seniors from Congress.

Jeevan Reddy might be a senior leader in the Jagtiyal region, but his ability to dominate the entire area is in doubt. He had the Congress umbrella behind him all these years and it’s going to be a challenge to replicate this with the BRS. But that did not stop KCR from going the extra mile for Jeevan.

Well, a few political analysts believe KCR may have a calculated plan regarding Jeevan Reddy’s ground-level strength, which could be rebuilt over time. Still, making such a big promise on a massive public stage stands out as a bold political move.
