Over the last few years, Mumbai Indians have made it a habit to lose the first few games of the season and then to bounce back drastically in the second half. This has happened multiple times in the past, but not in the last five years as the team hadn’t won a trophy for half a decade.
Coming to the topic now, Mumbai Indians have successfully bounced back from a dry season after having lost their previous four games successively.
Mumbai Indians made remarkable come back against the Gujarat Titans, as this was a completely one side that was dominated by the five time champions.
Batting first, Mumbai scored 199 runs thanks to tremendous century from Tilak Varma. In response, Gujarat was no longer relevant in the game as they got bundled out for just 100 runs.
This is a huge win for Mumbai Indians by imagine of 99 runs and remarkably enhance their nett run rate. As the popular saying goes Mumbai Indians getting back is never a good sign for other teams.
Once Mumbai gets back to winning ways, it is literally impossible to stop them or even get close to them and we’ve seen this happen multiple times in the past. But we have to really wait and see if they will be capable of doing something like this in the ongoing season.
