Big Step Toward Babu’s Energy Hub Dream for AP

Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu is regarded as one of the most visionary leaders in Indian politics and the kind of market forecasting that he has is lauded by tech giants as well.

Currently, Chandrababu is operating on the mission of developing Andhra Pradesh as the renewable energy hub of India and he is going to make a pretty significant development to this effect.

Incidentally, CM Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for ReNew Photovoltaics India’s first commercial-scale 6 GW solar ingot–wafer manufacturing unit on April 23.

This is going to be a massive renewable energy plant in the Rambilli area of Anakapalli and it will be one of the hallmark establishment in the energy sector in the state.

The company is reportedly proposing the idea of bringing this plant to full operation in a record period of 24 months and if this is achieved, there could be significant contributions to the renewable energy sector from AP.

The first investment will be around ₹4200 crore and the second phase will include another ₹1200 crore, taking the total to ₹5400 crore. A total of 2100 employees are likely to be employed for this operation, which will provide adequate opportunities for the locals.
