Why Pawan Kalyan Is Silent On Pithapuram Issues?

There was a tussle between Pithapuram TDP Incharge SVSN Varma and Janasena Leader Pandem Dorababu. Varma took a strong objection to missing CM Chandrababu Naidu’s photos in the Flex Banners erected at a Official Program. That led to a verbal war and even physical altercation and it is all over the media.

The Chief Minister took strong exception to the conduct of party leader and former MLA Varma regarding this incident. He stated that engaging in altercations over issues of protocol or photographs on flex banners is inappropriate.

He advised that if any lapse occurs, the matter should be brought to the attention of senior party leaders or the government. He emphasized that there is no benefit in engaging in public altercations.

He noted that such incidents send the wrong signals to the party cadre. He instructed Party President Palla Srinivas to ensure that such incidents do not recur and directed him to issue appropriate instructions to former MLA Varma.

Why should Chandrababu embarrass his own party leader even if he is fighting for the party interests?

Naidu is obviously trying to avoid cracks in the alliance. But why is that Pawan Kalyan not making the same effort?

This is the second time such thing happened in Pithapuram in the last few months. Have we heard the Deputy CM firing on the ‘Protocol’ issue?

Did we hear him reprimand Pendem Dorababu for the same issue? If Pawan Kalyan is not embarrassing his party leaders, why is Naidu doing that?

In case, there is an issue, he should have summoned Varma and spoke to him directly or send someone to talk to him. But why this media leaks to embarrass the Senior Leader?

Naidu made a promise to Varma for sacrificing his seat to Pawan Kalyan but did not keep it until now. It appears like he does not want to create another Power Center in Pithapuram.

But in the process, TDP may be permanently damaged in Pithapuram. Alliances may not be permanent, but the party definitely is, says a core TDP activist.
