YSRCP Protest Timing Raises Questions During Google Event

Today is a historic day for Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for the Google Cloud India AI Hub.

The 1-GW Data Center in Vishakapatnam is the biggest AI-Hub of Google outside the United States.

The five-year project (2026–2030) is expected to create over 1 lakh jobs.

Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Rammohan Naidu, Minister Nara Lokesh, and representatives from Google participated in this event.

As the representatives of one of the World’s Biggest Companies are in the Port City, YSR Congress had called for Protests against all the Petrol Bunks in the State protesting the fuel shortage.

The timing of these protests is worst as it sends a very wrong signal to the investors coming to the state. Andhra Pradesh Government is doing all that it could to resolve the issue but the Opposition is trying to paint it as a Government failure.

But then, people on social media are telling that it maybe the modus operandi of the YSR Congress because they do not want the investments to come to the state as Chandrababu Naidu Government will get good name.

Moreover, this Foundation laying ceremony was supposed to capture the entire media space and YSR Congress wants to deny that with these protests.

Way back in 2017, YSR Congress timed their ‘Special Status Protests similarly when Vishakapatnam is hosting the Partnership Summit and with many investors in the city.

So, this is the old strategy of YSR Congress.

But then, back in 2017, YSR Congress got so much of bad name for that protest. However, they appear to have learned no lessons.
