Big Twist In Bandi’s POCSO Case: What’s Happening?

Telangana politics have been primarily revolving around Bandi Bhageerath, the son of union minister from Telangana, Bandi Sanjay. A POCSO case was filed against him a few days back and a full scale investigative action is constituted by the Revanth Reddy government.

In the meanwhile, Bhageerath has approached the Telangana High Court to dispose off the allegations against him. This case was taken up by one of the most experienced and skilled lawyers in the country, Niranjan Reddy.

Just a day after Niranjan Reddy to cover this case, some pretty substantial evidence is being established against the victim who allegedly claimed she was 17 years old during the time of the incident.

Apparently, the victim girl has to separate birth certificates. In one certificate, her birthday is mentioned August 12th 2008 ( Issued by GHMC). And in the other, it is mentioned August 12 th 2010 ( issued by Medical Health Department).

Shockingly this victim girl was involved with a drunk drive incident earlier, and her parents submitted to the court that she was 15 years old in 2021. This is an official record and will be verified by the court tomorrow when the case comes to a hearing.

Now this is being used as a crucial evidence by Bandi Bhageerath’s legal team in this case as they argue isn’t a minor. This is going to be a very crucial piece of evidence in this case and could have its repercussions in the court of law.

The presence of Senior advocate Niranjan Reddy is going to dictate the outcome of this case, considering his experience and expertise in such situations. This lawyer had famously argued the cases of YS Jagan in the Supreme Court earlier and he’s also the Rajya Sabha MP from YCP.
