Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan is finding himself in a political tussle in Telangana. On top of saying that JSP would be contesting 2024 Telangana election, Pawan Kalyan added that he is not shaken up by the empty threats made by the Telangana leaders.
These statements from Kalyan were largely misreported by several media channels in Telangana to make it seem like he was speaking against the entire Telangana population.
However, veteran politician and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu came to the defence of Pawan Kalyan now. He fully backed Pawan Kalyan about his aspirations to expand Janasena in Telangana.
The chief minister said that Andhra Pradesh administration fully welcomed KCR, when he established BRS with national dreams and wanted to expand in Andhra. And now a similar reception is expected from Telangana leaders when Pawan Kalyan is setting his foundation here.
This was followed by a very constructive example that was given by Chandrababu as he said Indian people have been witnessing political progress in countries like US and Australia but somehow, there are domestic differences when regional parties aspire bigger dreams in other states.
The other day, BJP Telangana leader Ramachandra Rao also briefly defendant Pawan Kalyan by saying he has the right to exercise his political power here. And now this is followed by a solid comment from Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu, who ranks Pawan Kalyan very highly.
