Zero For BJP, But Who Is The One For Janasena?

Confirming the extensive round of speculations that had been circulating in media, the BJP was not given any Rajya Sabha seat from Andhra Pradesh for the upcoming nomination process. This might not be a favourable result for the BJP, but they are having to stick to it due to the alliance prospect.

Of the four seats that are going to be vacated in Andhra Pradesh, 3 are held by the TDP, which is the obvious choice considering the numbers game. The BJP has not been given any seats this time around.

On the other hand, the Janasena party is given one Rajya Sabha berth and it has to be seen who would be the candidate that would be finalised by the deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.

There are reports that Lingamaneni Ramesh who is very close to CM Chandrababu and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan himself is likely to get the Rajya Sabha seat from Janasena. But there is no official confirmation on this, as people are patiently waiting for Pawan Kalyan to take the final decision.

The three candidates that are going to be finalised by the Telugu Desam Party are also in speculation now as one of them is likely to be Sana Satish who has been with the party intellectually in time of crisis. There are multiple names that are being circulated for the other two vacancies.
