BRS‘s Strange Argument, No Party Should Have Telangana In Name?

BRS Party had moved a formal objection regarding Kavitha‘s TRS Party. The Election Commission of India (ECI) recently approved Kavitha‘s Telangana Rakshana Sena which is abbreviated as TRS.

TRS had transformed into BRS and lost it connect with Telangana Sentiment. Obviously, Kavitha wants to tap the Telangana Sentiment and also any possible Vote Transfer due to the name confusion.

BRS formally lodged a complaint objecting to the name. BRS reportedly asked the ECI not to allot the name since it is connected to Telangana Sentiment.

Sources say that there were around 700 objections already on TRS name.

BRS‘s Objection at least looks silly on Paper. Telangana Sentiment is not a patent of the BRS Party. It is not that any party should not use it except for the KCR‘s Party.

If the BRS is saying that nobody should use name related to Telangana Sentiment, it should cancel everything it has achieved in the name of TRS.

This objection already wide-opens the differences between Brother and Sister (KTR and Kavitha). We will have to see how Kavitha reacts to this!
