High tension prevailed in Eluru late Sunday night. Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, accompanied by his followers, protested before the residence of Idupuganti Srinivasa Rao, the State Vice-President of the TDP Legal Cell.
A chaotic situation arose as a large number of the MLA’s followers and party workers gathered at Srinivasa Rao’s home in Ashok Nagar, Eluru.
Recently, Srinivasa Rao had held a press conference and leveled serious allegations against MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, accusing him of involvement in illegal activities, including unauthorized soil excavation in the constituency.
In response, MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar alleged that Srinivasa Rao had made abusive remarks targeting his family members.
Consequently, the MLA staged a protest at Srinivasa Rao’s residence late at night, demanding immediate action and his arrest.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
The videos of the protest have surfaced in all media channels. Chintamaneni appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and is threatening to demolish the Advocate’s house.
The Police were seen trying their level best to pacify the MLA.
If not for the ruling party MLA, the Police would have arrested Chintamaneni.
This happens with Chintamaneni every term. He always give fodder to the Opponents to target the Government using him. Between 2014 and 2019, there was the issue of MRO Vanajakshi and now this.
In 2024 elections, Chandrababu Naidu delayed Chintamaneni’s B-Form until the last minute. He was the last to be announced as TDP’s candidate. Even then, Chintamaneni seems to have not learned a lesson.
Whoever maybe at wrong, the MLA is not setting a good example by this Midnight Show.
Meanwhile, Badeti Chanti, the Eluru District TDP President and Eluru MLA, announced that Idupuganti Srinivasa Rao was being suspended from the TDP for violating party discipline.
