The Pawan Kalyan Effect: JSP Leadership Finally Activated!

Andhra Pradesh deputy chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan had been holding multiple responsibilities, including the administrative duties and also the party operational activities. With so much on his plate, it is natural for Kalyan to expect adequate support from his party men as well.

However, there has been little movement from leadership when it comes to countering the fake narrative set by the Oppositions. Finally, when Pawan Kalyan has started to fire on the JSP leadership and asking them to be more active, there is visible movement now.

The likes of Kandula Durgesh, Pantham Nanaji, Arava Sreedhar and others have come to the scene and started to counter the YCP narrative building exercise.

Durgesh sat in front of the media today and said YCP is spreading misinformation on Pawan Kalyan regarding the Sai Krishna lockup death issue. He exposed how YCP held a Kapu community meeting and spread misinformation regarding Pavan Kalyan’s silence in the Sai Krishna lockup case.

This was much clarification as such communal politics are always going to have a significant say in Andhra Pradesh. So it was good on the part of the JSP leadership to react.

And then, when Ambati Rambabu questioned Pawan Kalyan, on whether he has the guts to come out of caste politics and win a single seat without Kapu reference, Nanaji came out and attacked Jagan and asked him to contest outside Pulivendula.

For Janasena fans, it is finally good to see the leadership show some movement and heart in their fight to counter YCP. But this cannot be a trigger movement that happens only when Pawan Kalyan fires it up. This must be a constant practice, regardless of the instructions from Kalyan as activity and verbal recourse are crucial for a party to stay relevant.

The JSP leadership cannot expect Kalyan to do all the work by himself while they reap the benefits for his hard work. So it has to be seen if this trigger movement that is being observed now would be sustained by the party in the days to follow as well.
