Explosion At Chemical Factory In Hyd

A huge fire broke out at a factory in Hyderabad and nearly 20 workers were reportedly injured. Going into details, a reactor is said to have exploded in Vindhya Organics, a chemical factory located in the industrial area of Bollaram. When the explosion took place about 15 people were inside the factory and three were said to be beside the reactor.

Three fire tenders from Kukatpally, Patancheru, and Miyapur were rushed to the spot after they received a call about the fire mishap around 1:30 PM. The fire officers have moved all the injured to a nearest hospital and reportedly three people’s condition is serious.

The visuals of the fire mishap are distressing as some pictures show employees lying on the ground unconsciously which means the fire exit is not placed appropriately. There are reports that the company is not following standard safety and security norms for the employees which led to the fire accident.

The rescue operations are going on and more details are awaited.
