Since the onset of the NDA government, they have been particularly emphasising on social media hate and the need to curb the abusive culture. And now some significant action is happening to this effect under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan.
Deputy Chief minister Pawan Kalyan has taken the responsibility upon himself to ensure that social media becomes a safe place from this abusive and misinformation culture. He recently announced the formation of a new task force team to oversee the activities and he’s preparing the stage for the same now.
The deputy CM has reportedly met with a senior executive of the Andhra Pradesh home department recently and discussed the imposition of strict regulations on social media usage. This is followed by another significant meeting today.
The deputy CM met with Andhra Pradesh governor and held a high-level meeting regarding the social media proposition. A strict guideline and framework could be formed very soon to curb social media abusive activity and this could be legislated as well.
Once the full framework is completed, the government of Andhra Pradesh and the police department could be coming together to enforce strict rules against this abusive culture.
