July 18th Media Hype Turns Headache For NTR

From the past few days, there are rumors that Junior NTR will be announcing a slew of Charity works as a precursor to his Political Debut. This is akin to the strategy of Thalapathy Vijay in Tamil Nadu.

Media Channels picked it up very quickly and social media is abuzz with the reels propagating this news. However, sources close to the actor confirm that there is no such plan whatsoever.

But then, a small fans association announced it would call for a Pressmeet in Tirupati on 18th to announce a 100 Crore Charity works in the name of NTR. The Program is titled ‘Ooru Vaada’.

Previously, when this announcement came, NTR’s office released a Pressnote that there is no charity work in NTR’s name and asked people not to donate if anyone asks for. The organization, then announced they would not collect any donation.

So, how would an organization conduct 100 Crore Charity without the support of the actor or taking donations?

People are already smelling a scam.

Meanwhile, some people are saying that NTR is behind this program but is not saying that in Public now.

Vijay when he did Charity, he did on his name and openly endorse the organizations doing that. That is how the goodwill of the charity will flow into the actor’s account. So, all this seems to ado about nothing.

In all probability, the 100 Crore Charity is impossible and there would be no announcement whatsoever from NTR on July 18th.

But media giving extensive coverage to this has turned into a headache for NTR who is busy in shooting for his Dragon.

The actor should also be careful as Charity on his name of this scale and publicity can be potentially damaging if funds are collected and misused.
