Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a new global social media record. His Instagram reel on the government’s anti paper leak measures crossed a massive 303 million views in less than 24 hours, becoming the most viewed reel ever on the platform.
The reel went past the previous world record of 300 million views, which was held by popular YouTuber IShowSpeed. The stunning response also brought nearly one million new followers to Modi’s Instagram account overnight.
Following the record breaking achievement, Modi shared another reel thanking youngsters and supporters for their overwhelming response. He said their love and valuable suggestions would continue to inspire him.
The viral video comes at a time when the Centre is highlighting tougher measures against paper leaks and exam reforms. The issue has sparked nationwide discussions, making the reel one of the fastest growing posts in Instagram history.
With 303 million views and counting, Modi has now overtaken one of the biggest internet creators in IShowSpeed, proving that the reel has turned into a global social media phenomenon.
