Dharmendra Resignation: A Bigger Lesson for Congress Than BJP

Dharmendra Pradhan had finally resigned as the Minister for Education taking the Responsibility for the NEET Paper Leak. Prior to that, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a Selfie Video on Instagram assuring steps.

This is the first major setback for the Modi Government in this term. The fact that this follows protests by the youth will worry the BJP think tanks.

Gone are the days, leaders take responsibility and resign when something of that sort happens.

In this era, resignation means Political Setback. If Modi and Shah agreed to that, we can imagine the pressure they are in.

This is not just a setback for the Ruling Party, but is even bigger a lesson for the Opposition Congress.

This is a classic failure of the Opposition. When Oppositions fail, people will take things into their hands and hit the streets. That is what happened in this case. This is as much a wake up call for the Congress like it is for the BJP.

BJP is being largely benefitted by not just its efficiency, the inefficiency of the Congress is helping it big time. Even though the Public is not happy with the BJP, the lack of a proper opposition is doing the trick.

After a point, people do not wait for the Opposition or anyone, they take things into their own hands, just like how Cockroaches have done in this case.
