A light hearted comment during a TDP meeting turned into a sharp political attack on YS Jagan. When one of the leaders suggested that a movie should be made on Jagan’s alleged irregularities, Chandrababu responded with an interesting remark that quickly grabbed everyone’s attention.
Chandrababu said a film on Jagan could not be completed in a single part. Drawing a comparison with the blockbuster Baahubali, he said such a movie would need two parts because there was too much to cover. His remark drew laughter from the leaders present at the meeting.
Explaining his point, Chandrababu said the first part would focus on what he described as the injustice Jagan had done to his own family, including his mother, sister and uncle. The second part, he said, would depict what he called the “unlawful rule” and alleged scams during the YSRCP government’s tenure.
Naidu made these remarks while discussing Jagan’s proposed visit to Srikakulam to meet former minister Sidiri Appala Raju, who is currently in jail. Chandrababu questioned the purpose of the visit and alleged that extending support to such leaders sends the wrong message to society.
