One of the fundamental leaders for the BRS leadership and a politician who was very close to former CM KCR, Peddi Sudharshan Reddy, who was being treated at a private hospital, has sadly passed away.
Sudharshan Reddy had earlier represented the Hanumakonda Assembly constituency between 2018 into 2023, and he is recorded as one of the closest members to KCR.
A prominent voice during the Telangana agitation, Peddi Sudarsan Reddy lost vision in one of his eyes due to water canons that were used against Telangana agitators by the police back then.
Rightly regarded as a firebrand politician and a very honest leader who stood by the masses, he suffered a cardiac arrest on the morning of 26th July at his residence and was rushed to a hospital in Hanumakonda.
Incidentally, even KCR stepped out to visit Sudharshan Reddy in the hospital and advised the medical team to do whatever they can to bring him back to good fitness. But sadly, fate was not on his side and he sadly succumbed to the heart condition.
The final rites are currently being held in his hometown of Hanumakonda, where people have turned up in big numbers. KCR KTR are going to take part in the same which is a token of respect that the BRS leadership has towards their fallen leader.
