The political heat in Telangana is increasing as the local body elections are approaching. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has launched fresh attack against the BRS leadership over the blood donation camp held at Telangana Bhavan.
Speaking at the government event in Parkal, Warangal, Revanth Reddy alleged that BRS workers donated blood, but their blood was later sold to private hospitals by KTR and Harish Rao.
Revanth Reddy also questioned why KTR and Harish Rao did not donate blood at the programme. He criticised the BRS leadership and alleged that the party’s top leaders were making money even from the blood donated by their own workers.
The Chief Minister further alleged that the KCR family had a habit of exploiting the state when in power and was now targeting its own party workers.
His comments have triggered a political war between Congress and BRS supporters on social media. Congress supporters are strongly backing Revanth Reddy’s remarks, while the BRS camp is expected to respond to the allegations.
