Jr NTR’s name came up in the Telangana Assembly today after Jubilee Hills Congress MLA Naveen Yadav made serious allegations against the previous BRS government.
Speaking in the Assembly, the Jubilee Hills MLA alleged that the previous BRS government had created fake documents to give around 150 acres of government land to private individuals. He also claimed that Jr NTR and others were among those who benefited from the alleged land deals.
Naveen Yadav said the matter needs to be investigated and the details should be brought out. However, these are allegations made by the Congress MLA and there is no confirmation yet that Jr NTR received any government land through such a deal.
The mention of Jr NTR’s name has naturally attracted attention as the actor has largely stayed away from active politics. His name, however, continues to come up in political discussions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
Jr NTR fans have reacted strongly to the latest allegation. They are demanding that proper evidence be presented instead of making allegations against the actor.
The issue could now gain more attention if the government decides to conduct a detailed investigation into the alleged land transactions.
